Following an pre-design study to solicit state funding, Greenline Architecture was contracted by the Georgia DTAE to begin the design process for the Savannah Tech’s new Effingham County Campus.

The first building for the site is a 17,800 square foot facility that will provide much-needed training for jobs in the industrial and technical market sectors of Southeast Georgia. The building uses expansive natural daylighting throughout a central corridor off of which are individual spaces designed with glass front, retail-like spaces creating openness and visual continuity. An informational kiosk is located in the entry and will help direct pedestrians as the campus grows. In addition to technology classrooms, the inaugural building houses administrative spaces, the campus bookstore, a media center, a multipurpose room and occupational tech and health labs. The interior furnishings brand the building using Savannah Tech’s colors and branding materials throughout.
