SAVANNAH, GEORGIA 

Where luxury meets history. Greenline worked with Embassy Suites Hotels on this modern, five-story, 150-room, all-suite hotel in the heart of Savannah’s Historic District. With square footage totaling approximately 157,000 square feet, program spaces include the lobby, large conference meeting rooms, dining areas, a restaurant, market, laundry, guest rooms, a pool and porches. Greenline worked to find suitable massing and scale of elements for this very large building within the Historic District ordinance’s parameters. This Embassy Suites is one of the largest footprint of any new building within Savannah’s Historic District

The Parking Deck won a 2014 Georgia Chapter ACI Award and first place in the Parking Deck category during the Dan R. Brown ACI Awards Program, which recognizes and honors creative, innovative, aesthetic and imaginative uses of concrete and concrete masonry in new construction and restoration projects. 

Greenline provided services including exterior design and initial site and floor plan layout from hotel standard modular plans; all items related to the Historic District Board of Review approval process, as well as serving as the city permitting/construction liaison. Greenline worked in conjunction with Lindsay Pope Brayfield Clifford & Assoc. Inc. to lead a multi-disciplinary team of consultants to provide structural, civil, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, landscape architecture, interior design and FF&E.
